The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Buckinghamshire

The staff were friendly and left a special treat in our room for our anniversary, which we appreciated. Still, after spending so much to stay at the Langley before heading back to the States, we were thoroughly disappointed. The hotel felt VERY outdated and in need of TLC. The hallway to the bathroom was low and slanted, and we hit our heads on it in the middle of the night. The grounds were huge but poorly maintained. It’s close to the airport, though the surrounding area wasn’t great. We wouldn’t recommend paying the price they charge.

Waking up to views across the lush grounds was a dream, and our room was spacious, stunningly designed, and full of thoughtful touches. We spent the final night of our honeymoon at The Langley in Buckinghamshire, and the peaceful countryside setting made it a perfect ending. The estate feels timeless and elegant, with a lovely sense of luxury. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout, and we felt cared for from the moment we arrived. We didn’t have time to use the spa, but it looks like a wonderful feature for anyone wanting to unwind. The whole place has a romantic, relaxing feel. Dining was exceptional too, and the stay exceeded our expectations. We wished we’d booked a few more nights. It was an unforgettable finale to our honeymoon, and we can’t wait to come back.

A peaceful, cozy countryside escape that’s just a quick drive from Heathrow. The hotel and grounds are breathtaking, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. We had a lovely family stay, with delicious food in the restaurant and exceptionally warm, welcoming staff. We couldn’t have asked for a better visit.

The tea selection was the best I’ve ever seen, and the attention to detail and attentive service were spot on. We came for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday, and the whole visit felt luxurious from beginning to end. We often have tea at five-star hotels in London, and this was honestly exceptional. So glad we found the hotel and we’ll definitely return. A real jewel in Buckinghamshire’s crown. It would be fabulous if they considered allowing small, well-behaved dogs.
