Carrington House

The host was quick to answer all my questions beforehand and shared some helpful recommendations. We had a fantastic time for my 50th, and the house exceeded what we expected. It’s old, sure, but that’s part of its charm. The party room was a lot of fun, the bedrooms all have their own style, and the shared areas worked perfectly for our group. We especially loved unwinding in the hot tub after an afternoon of axe throwing nearby, which I’d recommend too.

The house looks every bit as fabulous as it does in the photos, and there’s an incredible cafe/bakery right next door, The Old Store, less than a minute away. Booking was easy, and Paul and Ben on the team were great to deal with. Definitely recommend.

We had 19 guests for a big birthday and brought in a caterer to feed us on Saturday and Sunday. The bedrooms each have their own style, and the adjacent barn has a large Jacuzzi, comfortable beds and a great dining area. It’s a lovely place to celebrate in style. If you want to use the basement club for games, music and singalongs, bring the cables, extension leads and adapters you’ll need to get everything set up smoothly. A visit before your stay is also a good idea so you can ask Paul and his team about extra supplies, such as things for the dining table.

We had 16 friends there for my 30th, and there was loads of space. The outdoor area was lovely for hanging out together, the hot tub was perfect, and all the rooms are so well decorated. The house just keeps on giving. Only downside was having to leave! I’d recommend it 1000% for any sort of celebration.
