Seaflowers

This was our third stay at Seaflowers, and we still can’t stay away. Suzy knows the area inside out, and the view from the private garden is stunning. The Annexe has everything for a relaxing break, and it’s cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We’ll definitely return!

I’ve held two retreats at Seaflowers now and am already looking forward to coming back. The view and location are wonderful, and Suzy has thought of every detail. There’s a surprise as soon as you come through the door that I won’t spoil, but it really takes your breath away. I’ll bring more yogis next year, and my family too. Such a special place.

We stayed in the Shrimp room, which had an adjoining twin room and a nursery with a cot and toys ready for our little one. There was loads of room for our 16-month-old to play safely on the lawn while we relaxed and kept an eye on him, and we enjoyed some incredible sunsets. The floor-to-ceiling windows look over Frogmore Creek, and the calm, beautiful view also made it easy for my partner and me to work remotely. After days out in the neighbouring villages and nature, the private hot tub was a real treat. We loved soaking under the spectacular night sky, unwinding together in the quiet. Seaflowers was a memorable family stay, from the peaceful arrival and warm welcome by Suzy to the fresh eggs from her eight chickens. She answered our questions quickly and shared great local advice, including attractions and dining hidden gems. We can’t recommend the place highly enough, and hope to come back soon. We’d give it 10 stars if we could.

Morning and evening paddleboarding was easy, with the garden and slipway right by the creek. Frogmore is idyllic, and Seaflowers is a short drive from beaches like Mattiscombe, Gara rock and Torcross, plus a great stretch of the south west coast path. I joined the first wild ones x seaflowers yoga retreat and loved every moment. The accommodation was flawless, with so much care in the details. I’d live here if I could, and I’ll be telling everyone about it!
