Charles Hope Southampton Waterside

The company still owes me my security deposit. We left the place sparkling clean with no damage, but they’ve kept the money and haven’t emailed or contacted me about it. Getting the deposit to them in the first place was complicated, and check-in was horrible too. We booked two apartments and were left waiting outside in the cold on two separate occasions. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t have time to waste. A complete horror show. Avoid it.

I’m in Southampton for work, having come from London, and was looking for somewhere to stay. I accidentally booked the wrong date. Within 20 minutes I called the property, explained the mistake, and asked the woman if she could cancel or waive the booking. She said no, told me I shouldn’t have made the mistake, and said I’d have to go back to the booking site and deal with it there. I then booked with City Centre Comfort apartments. They required a deposit, but when I explained to the man on the phone that I was using a company card and couldn’t transfer money to an account, he said that was fine and I stayed there. I still haven’t stayed at Charles Hope Apartments Southampton, and I don’t think I ever will. A place should feel welcoming, with people willing to look out for you. From my experience, they care about the money, not the customer, and they’re still holding my money.
