Darwin road guest house room 5

The website said arrival was possible until midnight, so getting there at 11:30 pm shouldn't have been a problem. But no access code had been sent, and nobody answered when I tried the property phone, WhatsApp, email or the booking company's app. I spent over 30 minutes across two calls to the company I booked through. They said they could reach the partner on the same number, then gave me that number, which I already had, and I still couldn't get an answer. After midnight I gave up and went to a hotel elsewhere in the city, at much greater cost. Self check-in should be straightforward. It's not acceptable to leave out the codes and other key details a customer needs before arriving.
