Kayleigh is so welcoming and friendly. She even offered to book me a taxi to the cruise port the next morning. I had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, and I’ve booked in for another Southampton stay. This is my second time here. I don’t drive, so the location is great, just a stone’s throw from the train station. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. A chair and perhaps a wall mirror would have been useful, but otherwise it had what I needed for a good overnight stay. I’d highly recommend this guest house.

Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked, with a great choice of continental or cooked options. Parking was great too. Kayleigh was so friendly and helpful, and the clean room had lots of thoughtful extras like toiletries, tea and coffee, a TV and a bedside pull-cord light. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Couldn’t recommend this guesthouse more.

A short walk gets you to town, and it’s a short drive to the cruise terminals. I had a very comfortable room and slept well before picking up my cruise ship. This little guest house is excellent value, especially for a solo traveller.

Kayleigh, who mainly runs the place, and her grandma are both amazing, friendly people. Kayleigh made me feel completely welcome during my one-night stay, and it felt like home. The Mayflower theatre is about a 5-6 minute walk away, so it’s a fab location for a visit. The value is excellent, and breakfast was amazing at £5. It was worth a tenner, so that’s what I left 😃.
