We ended up staying at Oceana for a month after booking it as quarantine accommodation, which was required for our flight from the Philippines. Vicki made our first night easier by picking up some food and a few things for us before we arrived, so we wouldn't go hungry while waiting for our grocery delivery. The house was clean and cosy, and it felt like home. Our two-year-old son enjoyed it too, and there was everything we needed for a month, including a baby security gate. The back garden gave us a chance to get fresh air while we were quarantined, and the WiFi was fast, which helped a lot. Vicki was always helpful with our questions. We were very happy with the comfort of the place, and I'd recommend Oceana Accommodation without hesitation.

Calling the apartment “minimalistic” is a way of saying there was barely enough toilet paper, too few dishes, and the ones provided were dirty. Supplies amounted to one tin of salt. The interior feels unpleasant, so if you want to do anything beyond sleep there, you'll be disappointed. Even then, watch out for the pipes banging at night and the light that was always off because its bulb was missing. The place was freezing when we arrived, and mold was the only living thing I saw. The neighbours would harass you too. If you're looking for somewhere to think about suicide before deciding what to do, this is the place for you.
