Really relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. The pizzas are fantastic, with fresh ingredients, a lovely sour dough base and really nice toppings. You can eat in or take one away. Definitely worth a visit 👌😀

We spent the whole weekend here while visiting family, since we didn’t want to burden them with hosting us. The Bucks Head was just right for slowing down and relaxing. We enjoyed the outstanding breakfasts, joined in for dinner, and even took part in Trivia night.

Lovely cosy feel, with a spacious garden in the heart of the South Downs National Park. The pizza is really tasty, portions are generous, service is friendly and prices are fair. We’ll definitely be back.

The pizza and breakfast were excellent, and the service was wonderful, so I’m giving the pub three stars. But the room was a disgrace for £140. We had the downstairs twin, and it smelled damp, probably because there was no shower splash guard and water ran everywhere. I’d booked it for the bath after a long walk, but the bath tap didn’t work and had a screw holding it together. The tea selection was nearly empty and hadn’t been topped up, and the milk I was given was off. Very disappointing.
