Roslin Beach Hotel

We had such a lovely Valentines lunch at the Roslin Beach on 14 February, and we've eaten at this restaurant many times without being let down. Joelle looked after us brilliantly, friendly, helpful and attentive, and the other staff were gracious too. The special three-course menu was £69 each and felt like very good value. We had oysters, steak, corn fed chicken, mushroom ravioli and fun Valentine themed deserts. Everything was amazing. Drinks were the only small extra, which you'd expect. My daughter’s and I will be back soon, and I highly recommend the restaurant.

We brought our 12-week-old baby and felt completely at ease. The staff made sure he had what he needed, and were so kind and attentive throughout. The Christmas display was spectacular, and you could see how much work had gone into it. Another fantastic afternoon tea at the Roslin. We'd highly recommend it and are already looking forward to coming back next Christmas. We've stayed at the hotel before too, and the rooms were beautiful.

We had an overnight stay in a lovely, spacious room with everything we needed. A couple of things could use a little TLC, including some dead light bulbs and the sink plug. Breakfast was great, and the staff were helpful. I'm gluten free and they took that into account. The hotel and rooms were quiet, apart from a few minutes of noise from the next room. I wish hotels would put decaf tea and different milk options in the rooms. I'm lactose free, so I brought my own milk.

The setting was warm and inviting, and the service was great. We had a Classic Afternoon Tea yesterday as a gift for my mum, who's in her 90s, and it was delicious. The savouries and cakes looked beautiful, served on delicate china, with a huge choice of teas. They boxed up what we couldn't finish so we could take it home. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
