We were there for a weekend visit with family, and the location worked really well. It’s a traditional B&B in an old, tall Victorian building, so there are stairs, and our room was smaller than I’d hoped. Still, the place and room were super clean, the host was really nice, and breakfast was fine. On-site parking was handy, though it costs extra.

Breakfast was wonderful, and the host was friendly and flexible when our arrival and departure times didn’t match the listed check-in and check-out times. The room was perfectly comfortable for a short stay. The only awkward thing was the bathroom door, which had no latch and slowly swung open while in use.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. They’re a little small, but comfortable enough. We did have to ask for more tea bags, sugar, and toilet paper, as the room wasn’t checked each day during our stay.

A good stop before catching the ferries. There’s plenty to see and do within a short walk, though getting to the historic dockyard takes a drive, bus, or taxi. Our room was clean and quiet, apart from some noise from the room above, which was still livable. Check-in and getting a parking permit were efficient. Parking was free, with conditions, and breakfast came with the stay and was a very nice start to the day.

The location is very close to the seafront, and there’s an off-road parking option. The hosts were really friendly and catered for our special dietary requirements. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, and the room was clean. The beds were OK. The stairs were a bit challenging for an elderly person, though we knew about that beforehand.
