Hamilton House

I asked for an extra night at no charge while I was arranging to move elsewhere. Some problems were fixed, but only after I asked several times. The toilet wasn't working, the bin, sink, and shelf were dirty, the towel was wet, the curtains were coming down, and there were things left on the dirty floor in the shared areas. I was asked to pay a stranger over the phone and encouraged to take soap from other guests instead of being given some. Hygiene basics should be covered even at a cheap place. I wrote “dirty” on the shelf with my finger, and a few days later another customer posted on Booking that they'd found the message. I think the positive Booking reviews are fake.
