The bed was comfy, and the price and location were good. Staff weren't especially charming. There was no hairdryer, and no kettle or tea and coffee, though you could ask for a kettle. For something this basic, that feels like the minimum. Cheap and OK, that's about it.

Fratton Park is very close, and there was parking available. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with shops a short distance away. We only found out on arrival that the lift wasn't working. They could've told guests beforehand in case anyone needed to change hotels.

A handy location for football fans visiting Fratton Park. The staff were helpful, the room was comfortable, and I'd stay again. There was a strange noise in the room, but after a while it faded into the background. I got to the gym in the morning, and nearby options included Tesco, McDonalds, independent takeaways, and more. It would've been better if breakfast had been included. We lost 2-1 after conceding in the last minute, having equalised first. Until then, we'd “NEVER LOST AT FRATTON PARK”. I could hear some Pompey fans outside too, but that became background noise as well.

It's an ideal spot for Fratton Park, literally a minute's walk away. The room was very budget, but clean, and they provided fresh towels, toilet roll, and wall-mounted hand and body wash. The sink and shower cubicle were in the bedroom, with the toilet next to the door. The memory-foam bed was comfortable.
