I only wish I’d found this place sooner. I’m working away from home this week and found it on booking.com, but it was already unsurprisingly booked up for the next couple of weeks I’ll be in the area. Communication from the host samatha was great throughout, even one late evening when I’d forgotten my key. The fridge goodies were a very welcome touch, and the building and room were clean, well cared for and always smelled nice. The shower was hot with good pressure. There are plenty of pubs nearby, and I was always made to feel welcome while watching football or other sports on TV. Parking was plentiful, with a space every evening after work, and the beach is a stone’s throw away.

The quiet area was great, and parking was extremely easy. Southsea Studios is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach and shops, and the studio had everything I needed. I stayed for five weeks over Christmas and had a perfect stay. It was clean and cosy, Sam was friendly and attentive, and WhatsApp made communication easy. The fridge was topped up with complimentary drinks and snacks, and they kindly gave me a Christmas gift. I’d especially recommend it if you’re working at one of the local theatres, since they’re easy to reach from the studios. If I stay in Southsea or Portsmouth again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was back in Southsea for five days to see friends after having lived there, and the studio was just right. It’s close to the beach and only a few minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants on Albert Road. The room was modern, the bed comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything I needed. Complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch, and parking was easy, which is unusual for Southsea. I’d definitely stay again. Thank you!

The communication was amazing, from my first enquiry right through to leaving, and the room was spotless and an ideal size for two. It was easy to get to and from the Victorious Festival, which makes this a brilliant location for anyone going. We appreciated the freebies in the fridge, and will definitely come back next time we go to Victorious.

We’ll be back soon. The studio was pristine, and the area was quiet. We could walk a short way to the beach, and Albert Road’s bars and restaurants were also within walking distance. Our hosts let us check in early and gave us late checkout on Sunday, which was very welcome. A lovely weekend stay, and highly recommended for a visit to Portsmouth.
