2/10
The room was clean, but tiny. I kept banging my head on the door frame and on the stairs, and the staff were unfriendly. There was a radiator, but it didn't work, so there was no heating in the room. We stayed two nights for a wedding, never again. If you want to get your head down early, forget it: a bunch of oldies played music until closing time. I also had to park about a four-minute walk away.

The hosts went well beyond what I'd normally expect to make sure I was comfortable. I had a lovely stay at The Reindeer, and the room was nice, with enough different teas and coffees to suit most people.

The room was okay for our one-night stay. Parking was the downside, as we had to find a space on the main road, so I took off a star for the location.

It's fine, I suppose.
