I got an afternoon tea with prosecco here as a gift voucher, and it was such a lovely treat. The food was delicious, and the location right in town is fabulous. The staff were great, especially our server Amelie, who was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Room 15 was especially lovely, and the whole hotel had a classy but relaxed feel, perfect for a weekend away. The room was stunning, dinner was an absolute treat, and everything felt special. The staff went out of their way to take care of us. I highly recommend staying at The Swan in beautiful Southwold when visiting the area.

The afternoon tea was wonderful, with imaginative, delicious food served on separate savoury and sweet trays, which made it really good value. The restaurant is lovely, and the staff at this charming hotel were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

No pretension at The Swan, just food that was well executed and a relaxing, enjoyable lunch. The staff greeted us warmly when we arrived for our booked table, and all three courses lived up to expectations. We both had the Jerusalem artichoke broth to start, followed by pan fried halibut and monkfish for mains. We finished with Pear Charlotte and Chocolate Mont Blanc. We had a light Beaujolais and chilled Sauterne from the wine list alongside it all. Hats off to the chefs and waiting staff.

We had a very good meal with friends, and the staff were a real redeeming feature of this delightful hotel: friendly, helpful and efficient. They also went out of their way to help with a few issues before we arrived and during our stay. Special mention to Jason and Will.
