2 Hope Cottage

I fell for this little cottage as soon as we arrived. It’s so quiet and peaceful, with a lovely orchard behind it and a cosy feel throughout. We loved every moment and already want to book again. Seeing all those stars at night was amazing, something we never get in the big town where we live. 10/10.

We’ve returned to 1 Hope cottage for a week every year for about six years. It’s a clean, tidy two bedroom place with all the homely extras you need when you’re away. There’s a lovely cottage garden and an orchard to wander around. One room is single, and the master is large, with the most comfortable bed. If you’re a group of three or more, we thoroughly recommend hiring number 2 Hope cottage as well. You don’t have to book a full week, as short stays are available, and there’s so much to do in Lincolnshire!

Our sat nav didn’t bring us to the exact address, so it helps to know what the cottages look like from outside. We spotted the parking space first. These are two charming cottages that used to be one, and they’re perfect for a quiet break. We never heard the neighbours during our stay. It’s a handy base for exploring Lincolnshire, with the nearest supermarket about an eight minute drive away.

We’ve spent our last four or more holidays at 1 hope cottage. It’s cosy and reasonably priced, and works well for exploring the Lincolnshire area. The pretty garden and orchard are lovely, and we really enjoy the quiet, with only the birdsong to hear. If you need to get away from everyday hassle, stay at hope cottages!
