We loved being so close to the beach, pub and SW Costal path. The house was spotless and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which can often be lacking in short term rentals. The welcome pack, log burner and hot tub were lovely too. We didn’t find any faults, and the location and house made for an amazing week. This was a special treat for my husband and me after a long time apart while he was working away. We’ve already started saving for another trip, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. Thank you! P.s. We saw the previous bad review, but after staying there ourselves, it was clear to us that it was false. I wanted to add a Google review as well as the one on the website we booked through.

The access path is poorly lit and in bad shape. After a glass of wine at the pub, it’s not for the faint hearted. The location itself is good, but the property feels dark and tired, and could do with a tidy-up, a fresh coat of paint and an update.

A wonderful setting for a fantastic holiday home.

We swam in the bay each morning, just outside, and took an incredible cliff walk to Chapelporth for more delicious food. The local restaurants and pubs were so good that the hill back up to the village felt useful! We didn’t need the car for three days since everything was within walking distance. The house is lovely, clean and very well stocked, with loads of light throughout. Sitting in the hot tub during a spring shower was incredible. It was hard to leave after such a great May Day weekend, and I can’t wait to come back. Such a beautiful property in a brilliant location.
