James and Margaret made us feel so welcome. Margaret even drove us up Main street to find restaurants on our first night, and James shared golf tips like our own caddy. We had such lovely conversations. Ms “Wonderful” kept our rooms tidy, made sure we were fed, and kept us laughing. A friend and I celebrated a birthday with a two-week golf trip, an 11.5 round adventure that started in St Andrews at Braeside House. It was perfectly placed for the Old Course, the old ruins, and the Castle Course. Scottish hospitality really is second to none.

You can walk from this friendly guest house in the town centre to the seaside and St. Andrews golf courses. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the staff give you a warm welcome and take care of what you need. They can arrange an airport taxi, restaurant reservations, and trip recommendations too. A lovely place with a brilliant location.

We felt like family in the owners' comfortable home. They were wonderful, the location was great, and breakfast was delicious. Best pancakes in Scotland! Highly recommend.
