We’ve been coming to Morton of Pitmilly for 20-25 years, and this long weekend in Beechwood was just as lovely. The kids had a great time at the play park, and there are lovely walks around the fields. Booking the swimming pool works really well, and we picked up delicious bacon rolls from the pop up on a couple of mornings. It’s such a relaxing place to make family memories. We’ve already booked for next year.

Kingsbarns is where I’m from, so staying here feels like coming home. We’ve already had four stays this year and are looking at booking again. It’s so relaxing and leaves you feeling recharged.

There’s plenty here to keep both kids and adults entertained, and it’s dog friendly too. We found great coffee and breakfast on the premises, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The staff were warm and friendly, and the scenery and sea view were incredible. Our accommodation had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. A wonderful place for a family stay, we’ll definitely be back soon.

The pool and sauna were exactly what we needed the morning after the wedding, and we really enjoyed the food at the Pop Up. The grounds are beautiful and great for kids. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed for the weekend. We’ll definitely return x

I’ve averaged out my ratings for different parts of the facilities. The pool is small but lovely and clean, and being able to book it for just a couple of people at a time is great. It’s probably my favourite pool in the area. I also love the steam room and sauna, and the pool experience is still well worth it despite a few minor issues. The key lock box is really hard to open, especially if you have nails, though we’ve struggled with it even when different people have tried. Part of the steam room door seal has come away, so it only steams up when the steam replenishes. Be careful not to sit too near the steam outlet, as you might get a little scalded. For the pool, sauna and steam room, I’d give 4.5 stars. The dog park is nice in theory, but it isn’t secure. Even a big dog can get out under the fence. I’m honestly surprised, as I’ve been to plenty of other dog parks where keeping the perimeter secure hasn’t been a problem. Until it’s fixed and properly maintained, I’d give it 0 stars.
