Getting up here for the weekend is such a nice treat, and I love St Andrews, the old course and everything about it. The food is always great, service always superior, and the rooms are big and spacious. The Spa is amazing, and the treatments are done well. I took my sons this time after New year, and they enjoyed it too. Can’t wait to go back.

David and Neil from the concierge team were fantastic and really helped make the stay unforgettable. The spa was another highlight, with lovely extras like flavoured water, plush robes and health shots. At lunch in the spa café, the server, whose name I didn’t catch, surprised me with a cake saying “Happy Birthday”. That was such a kind gesture. We stayed one night at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews for my birthday, and the service and room were wonderful. There was even a thoughtful card waiting in our room when we arrived. Room service was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was just as impressive. Every part of the stay exceeded expectations. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel made a real effort for the kids. The housekeepers set up a teepee in our Old Course suite and gave them teddies, and Alexandra was so friendly at breakfast and happy to help with anything. Breakfast and dinner in the Road Hole were superb, and room service was excellent. We had a great time in the pool, at the Aquarium and around St Andrews. We stayed with family just before Christmas and had our most enjoyable stay yet. The small upgrades in the suites and bar/restaurant have improved the overall look. My only possible suggestion would be a small kids area like the Den at Gleneagles. If done well, that could be a game changer for families.

Tree gave me a five star Thai massage at the spa, a great experience. The grounds, room, service and food were all amazing, and the rooms are spacious with beautiful flowers throughout. The Jigger Inn is a must, and the location is perfect for exploring St. Andrew’. Can’t wait to come back!

The location is excellent, with beautiful views, and the hotel itself is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The vegetarian choices were limited, which was a real shame. Room service staff were great when we asked lots of questions about what we could eat with our dietary requirements. Breakfast was decent, but they couldn’t give us another vegan breakfast plate. That was disappointing, especially as the portion was so small.
