Bill greeted us at the door with a lovely welcome, and Cooperage lived up to its five-star rating. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom with a great shower. There was a large choice at breakfast, with delicious hot food cooked to order. Bill and Jackie were attentive without getting in the way. We’d definitely return and have no reservations about recommending it.

Breakfast was a real highlight: each evening we filled out a form, choosing from a wide range that included a full English, cereal, fruit and croissants. In the morning they asked whether we wanted tea or coffee, then brought out a hot, nicely cooked meal. The bacon was crispy, the sausages were lovely, and the food was locally sourced. We stayed in room 1 from Sunday to Wednesday, 19-22 May. It was spacious and spotless, and the tiled en-suite bathroom was just as clean. The double shower was large and powerful, with good quality towels and products. The bed was comfortable, very much like a Premier Inn bed, which I rate highly for a good night's sleep. I brought my own pillow, so I can't comment on the supplied ones, though they felt high quality. There were quality tea and coffee supplies in the room, plus a bottle of water and a Twix on the bedside cabinet. A nice touch. I have nothing bad to say about the place and will come back next time I'm in Cornwall. Highly recommended.

We were there for a week, and the owners were lovely. The rooms are nice and big, with en-suites. There’s also a fridge on the landing with wine glasses, corkscrews and fresh milk for guests. Breakfast was great, especially the porridge, the best I’ve tasted. I’ll definitely stay again on my next visit.

We've stayed twice, and it was just as good both times. The place is the cleanest and most comfortable I've ever stayed in, the breakfast is excellent, and Bill and Jackie are the friendliest owners I've met. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

We had a delightful stay. The room and facilities were excellent, and the menu and food were very good. Bill and Jacqui were so personally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We can highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
