The owners have thought of every detail, and the room was really comfortable. After a day travelling, it was lovely to get prompt service for beer and cocktails, then relax in the lounge with its huge windows over the ocean. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order each day, and the continental options were tasty too. It's a fantastic place to enjoy the scenery and all Mevagissey has to offer. No negatives at all.

Room 11 was comfortable, with its own terrace, a large bathroom, lovely linen and towels, and good tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast each morning had cereal, yoghurt, fruit, homemade granola, and a generous cooked option. There’s also a great bar with snacks and the same view across the bay, a lovely spot for a bottle of wine while the sun goes down. The service and attention to detail were excellent, and the views from the hotel are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

The hotel has an amazing view, and Mevagissey is a beautiful place within walking distance. We got a very warm personal welcome and the food was excellent. It's a great base for The Lost Gardens of Heligan and other nearby attractions.

Sam and Roy were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed their excellent breakfasts and evening meal. We stayed two nights in the King room with a patio and sea view. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding beautiful, and we slept really well. The room and the rest of the hotel were spotless. The slipper bath was a nice bonus, and the location is great, with easy parking and fabulous sea views. Perfection.

The best place to enjoy the sea view is the bar, with its big windows and comfortable sofas and chairs. Roy's delicious homemade scones go very nicely with a cup of tea there. Sam and Roy were warm, helpful, and hospitable, and the whole stay felt lovely, with genuine hosts who have a real human touch. The hotel has been newly refurbished and is sparkling clean, with a wonderful view across the sea to a headland. Breakfast was fresh, easy, and prepared with care.
