The facilities were perfectly fine, and the campsite is lovely and very welcoming to bikepackers. It's also really close to the Eden Project. I'd recommend it.

Mark was the real highlight of our overnight stay. He took my friend and me to the Eden sessions to see Madness and picked us up afterwards, asking only that we donate to an animal trust. Mark, if you see this, thank you so much. You're a genuinely wonderful person. The campsite and the toilet and shower block were spotless too.

We were greeted and shown around by a friendly, helpful woman. The site has a medium-sized camping field alongside several motorhome and caravan pitches with EHU. There are six clean wet rooms, notionally split three for women and three for men, plus grey and black water disposal. The walk to the Eden Project is a bit mixed. There's a mildly scary five-minute stretch along the road before you reach the path, then a pleasant off-road route to the entrance. We visited out of season, so with no courtesy bus it was a long walk from there to reception. One correction: this place is no longer a bar or hotel, though Google won't let me change that listing.

I was bikepacking alone and had a mechanical problem, and the kindness here was incredible. Mark helped with water, tools and support, while Catherine made sure I felt welcome and at ease. The site is tidy, green, affordable and well cared for. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend! 🌿

Mark is such a friendly, lovely owner. We had a great chat with him around the bonfire on the night we stayed, and the whole campsite felt lovely. The pitches are spacious, and the toilets and showers were very clean. There's also a very sweet dog called Buddy. It's only just down the road from the Eden Project, and we'd absolutely stay here again when we're back in Cornwall.
