The Ship in Mevagissey keeps drawing me back. It’s in a great spot, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I’m glad to see it still open under its new owners. Wishing them all the best. I’m especially pleased the bar staff have stayed. They’re a genuinely friendly, upbeat bunch with a great sense of humour, and they help make every visit enjoyable. It’s still a firm favourite, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone passing through Mevagissey.

The food was lovely, and the prices are very reasonable. We stopped by for a Sunday drink and meal and really liked the atmosphere. The staff were so friendly too. Definitely our favourite pub around! 🥰

That scallop dish may be the best I've ever had: cooked in a white wine, garlic and bacon sauce, with soft, crunchy baguette and plenty of butter. We popped in for lunch, and the service was really friendly as well. Delicious!

The pub has a lovely traditional feel, with a mix of local characters and visitors. Staff were friendly, and there's a good choice of food and drinks. I especially enjoyed the fish pie and would love to come back for another.

Right in the center of Mevagissey, this feels like a proper, authentic old pub. The food and drinks were excellent.
