Great spot for a week away with family, but the accommodation wasn't as luxurious as we'd hoped. The hot tub needed cleaning, and the kitchen was missing basic things. It felt quite stark and needed more home comforts to justify the price, like a teapot, vegetable peeler, coat hangers, drawers for clothes and a hair dryer. I left feeling there was something missing.

The always-on Aga in the kitchen was a real plus, with no controls to figure out. We went for a short break with friends, and there was plenty of space, with enough separate rooms and beds even for a big group. The pool table and hot tub were great extras.

We had a lovely family gathering here. The setting is amazing, full of wildlife, including woodpeckers, an owl and Red kites. The facilities were good, and the hot tub was gorgeous even in March.

We loved the house, and it was incredibly clean. The only downside was that there weren't TVs in the bedrooms.

A lovely holiday home in a stunning spot, with great views. Highly recommended.
