A couple of weeks ago we met up with family for a fantastic weekend. This was the best B&B I've stayed at: clean, comfortable and cosy, with a great freshly cooked breakfast. Helen and Neil were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They put us in adjoining rooms and arranged for us to have breakfast together. The cottage has high-quality fixtures and fittings that put many well-known hotel chains to shame. It's on the main road down to St Ives, and the location worked really well. We left the car in the car park and took the scenic train from Carbis Bay beach, or caught the bus that stops directly outside. Parking in St Ives can be hard to find and expensive. We're looking forward to coming back.

I stayed here with my husband in 2021 when I was heavily pregnant. At the end of the stay, the woman accused us of taking a small towel from the room and made me pay her £5. It wasn't about the money, but the accusation caused me a lot of distress. I honestly hadn't taken the towel. I think she did it because we weren't English or white enough for her to trust us. I hope she found the missing towel and bought some milk with our £5. I'll never forget being made to open all my luggage in front of her. Count your towels and cups.

We had such a lovely stay, with a great view and a clean, beautifully presented room. Christine was wonderful and attentive, always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious, nicely presented, and had vegetarian choices too. A real joy to stay here. Thank you, Christine, for making it feel so luxurious for both of us. Julian and Val x

Helen and Neil made us feel so welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room had a wonderful view and a very comfortable bed, and breakfast was first class. A fabulous luxury B&B with such careful attention to detail. We’d happily recommend a stay here. Thank you!

The location was great, and breakfast was lovely. Christine was friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to look after us and offer recommendations. Our room felt homely and had plenty of little luxuries. It was spacious and clean too. We had a fantastic stay.
