Little Leaf is one of the best B&Bs I've come across on this holiday. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and breakfast was delicious, with daily specials. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and it's close to the centre of St. Ives. If there's a room free, you can't go wrong here. Highly recommended!

Coming all the way from Sydney, Australia, this was a lovely introduction to Cornwall. Our hosts were a lovely couple and extremely helpful. The room was perfect, with access to a lovely garden, and we had a delicious breakfast in a lovely room with a grand view.

The food, location and hosts are all fab at Little Leaf. Lee and Daniel are genuine, lovely people who are welcoming, intelligent and make a holiday in St Ives easy. The hilltop home is cosy, bright and immaculately clean, with some of the best views in the UK. They're also so good in the kitchen, and I love trying their latest recipes. Always a nice surprise! I've stayed in lots of hotels, motels and B&Bs across North America and Europe, and Little Leaf tops them all. I'm fussy about cleanliness, and the place is wonderfully clean and tidy. Everything else is frosting on the cake, and what yummy frosting it is. Whenever I'm in the southwest UK, I'll be stopping in. Highly recommend Little Leaf to anyone. Cheers luvvies :)

Danny and Lee are amazing hosts. Even though they were fully booked, they made time for everyone and were happy to help with excursion bookings and give advice on attractions, restaurants, routes, what to wear and the best times to visit. They make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and it's clear that happy guests make them happy too. We'd loved our first stay at Little Leaf a year earlier, so choosing somewhere else when we returned to St Ives was a no-brainer. We stayed again in Room 2, with its wonderful harbour views. Since our last visit, they'd added a large skylight. The welcome was as warm as before, and the house was fresh and spotless. Breakfast portions were generous, with plenty of choice, including prepared fruit and fresh yoghurt as alternatives to the Full English or Special of the Day. There are lots of thoughtful extras for guests: an iPad, free WiFi, iPhone chargers, free cookies, plenty of storage and even an honesty bar. This B&B is my yardstick for others, and I doubt I'll find a better one. Stayed April 2012, travelled as a couple

It's just an ordinary B&B in a nice Cornwall town, but it doesn't feel professional. In October last year I posted a review on trip advisor, and a few days later it was removed. The proprietors had apparently complained. Remember, trip advisor is also a booking mechanism, and reviews that don't fit its comfortable relationships with hotels often get taken down. Little Leaf has hundreds of reviews, which seems disproportionate to how long it's been open and what it is. Lee and Danny, or Danny and Lee, seem to have figured out how to promote themselves on some websites. Anyone who can use a computer could do that. When they tell you breakfast is free in a B&B, you get the picture. Who knows how much of that personal promotion is going on across their other sites? They should act professionally to improve the accommodation and publicity instead of creating it themselves, when the place is bog standard B&B accommodation that they regularly rate themselves.
