We used the fast fibre WiFi at the property since there was no O2 signal there. Out on the forest trails, though, 4G was strong and plentiful, so our maps worked at full speed. The New Forest is right there for peaceful walks and scenery, and the coast is about 10 miles away, with supermarkets nearby too. The extension is compact but has everything laid out separately: a patio, bedroom, lounge and dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. It was warm and comfortable, and the owners were always around to help or offer advice. A great place to stay for a holiday.

Breakfast was freshly made each morning, with plenty of choices, and the stay was great value for money. Terry and Sandy were very hospitable, and I really enjoyed hearing their fantastic stories from years gone by.

The walks nearby were stunning, and there was a lovely bar out back. Everyone made us feel very welcome.
