Friendly staff, and a good base for Ringwood, the New Forest, and Bournemouth. There’s an M&S, Greg's, and Subway right next door, and the price was very reasonable for the usual hotel experience. The busy road beside it is the only downside, though it wasn’t an issue unless you opened the window.

Hasina at reception was polite and professional, a real asset to Travelodge. Our room was away from the rest of the building, which made it lovely and quiet. It was very comfortable and clean, with a spotless bathroom and really fresh towels.

Free parking, polite staff, and a little grassy, wooded area just outside. It’s a perfect spot for visiting family, the beach, or Bournemouth. And wow, there’s a Greggs and Subway attached.

The best part was the free parking, since the place feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. I couldn’t get mobile reception or internet, and they charge for WiFi. The petrol station next door wanted £3.40 for a can of Coke, so bring your own fridge and drinks. We had a family room for four people but were given just one key. About 80% of the rooms face the dual carriageway, with traffic noise going constantly, and it’s hard to sleep. Closing the windows makes the room way too hot, while the little fan can’t cope with a room that size. There’s no lift, either. £140 for one night is diabolical. That price in Dubai gets you a lot more. There are too many negatives to list without turning this into a long story.

It was quiet, which was great, and the heating controls were nice. The room was clean but could use a lick of paint. The main road nearby wasn’t mega loud, and there’s a Greggs and Subway below. Special mention to Stephanie, who went above and beyond during check-in. The staff were very polite.
