Our parents were really excited to spend their anniversary in town and see us for the first time in five months, but now we need to find somewhere else to stay at short notice. Fleur took my booking over the phone, and my parents then called with their card details. She said that would confirm it. At short notice, she cancelled our booking for Marina Heights overlooking the River in St Neots. She initially offered another property, then quickly took that offer back when I asked why this had happened. She got very upset with me and said a current guest had his flight to Japan cancelled, as I was told, and that he was more important, so she cancelled our booking and let him stay in the property. She rudely talked over me when I suggested the gentleman might find a hotel nearer the airport, then hung up. So disappointing. Update: the word “sling” was never used, and you were very rude.

A lovely place with welcoming people and good facilities. It’s on a quiet main road, close to pubs, takeaways, restaurants and a supermarket.

Self-catering B&B. Clean and nice, and convenient for the A1, Bedford and St Neots. Cambridge is reachable at a stretch.

Really nice and warm, clean and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there.
