A few minutes’ walk gets you to the seaside, though that stretch is rocky rather than sandy. A nice sandy beach is a few minutes away by car. There’s a small Morrisons and a bus stop within a short walk, and the cottage has a quiet car park. Inside it was clean and tidy, with nice decor and useful things like a coffee machine, kettle and microwave. Towels, bedding, blankets and toilet roll were all provided, along with a generous welcome hamper of wine, butter, chocolate, breads, tea, coffee and milk. They even left a parking disc for towns around the island. The garden is small and simple, with a wooden bench.
