The shower didn’t work, so we refused to stay. The bedding smelled as if animals had been kept inside, and rubbish had been dumped behind the building. The pods were poorly maintained, the cleanliness was appalling, and the garden upkeep was disappointing. The road to this so-called retreat was awful for my car. I was completely disappointed by the false advertising, and definitely wouldn’t recommend any of the pods. The owner should be ashamed. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

We were two hikers on the prembrokeshire coast walk and had to book two nights because we couldn’t book just one. We paid 150 pounds, but left without spending even a single night there. We took a taxi to a hotel in pembrokeshire instead. The place was filthy and badly maintained. The bed smelled as if animals had been kept in it, and the linen and blanket were so dirty. There were big spiders, moths and a million flies in the house and garden, with more spiders in the toilet and shower room. Rubbish was dumped behind the building and in front of other lodges. The two plastic chairs outside were damaged and dirty, and the grass was very high. The shower didn’t work, and the water hadn’t been treated, so it couldn’t be used. The garden upkeep was disappointing, and the road to this so-called retreat was terrible for any car. The advertising was completely misleading. Because of the poor maintenance and cleanliness, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying in any of these pods or lodges. The owner should be ashamed. It doesn’t even deserve one star.

We’ve stayed here twice, and both visits were fantastic. The owner couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely stay again.

I stayed in the Big Pod. It’s a great fit for a family who wants the camping experience without having to put up and take down a tent.
