Getting back to Heathrow was easy. The nearby public bus stop got us there in 15 minutes. We arrived around 9:30 pm after flying in from Heathrow airport, and Paul gave us a warm welcome and helped us settle in. The location was perfect for a stop between flights, with a bit of British charm. We chose the in-house breakfast and were glad we did. Paul brought full English breakfasts to our rooms. Mine was vegetarian, and I appreciated that it came with veggie sausages. After breakfast we walked around the neighbourhood and enjoyed the beautiful church grounds nearby. We also spotted a pub close by, though it wasn’t open when we were there. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot, although its door was a little loud and awkward. All in all, it was an ideal spot near Heathrow.

After a long flight from San Francisco, we had a great one-night stay at the Lodge. The room was charming and comfortable, small but well appointed, and the bed was more comfortable than average. Little extras made a difference: a small fridge, tea kettle, hair dryer in the bedroom dresser rather than the bathroom, and even a shower cap, which I appreciated since I’d forgotten mine. Paul was warm and friendly and shared lots of useful tips about the area. The 442 bus to and from Heathrow was easy and inexpensive, with a stop just steps from the Lodge. We’d stay again if the chance came up.

Close to Heathrow, quiet, comfortable, and friendly, this was a perfect BnB with a lovely feel to it. Paul made us feel welcome. We didn’t have breakfast, though he offers it as an extra. I’d recommend staying here.

The hosts made sure I had everything I needed and were really helpful. The place was clean and tidy, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A perfect spot near the airport, I’d happily recommend it.

We had a lovely time and would stay here again. It’s perfectly placed for Heathrow terminal 5, about 7 minutes by car, and the bed was really comfortable. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was just a couple of biscuits with tea or coffee in the room. That suited us fine since we never eat breakfast. Paul, maybe leave the fridge door open when it’s not being used, as it smelled a bit stale inside. I also enjoyed playing your piano. Keep practicing!
