The Little Annexe

Really glad we booked this lovely spot. The croissants were great, and the bread was baked locally. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfy. It’s about a 20-minute walk into town, and the location is great. We’ll definitely be back. Love Stamford!

The view of the lovely garden just outside the room was a treat in the morning. I stayed at The Little annexe in January 2022 while visiting Stamford, and it was even better than I expected. The owner was very nice, and the place is in a quiet, safe area near Stamford college, about a 20-minute walk from the town centre. You can leave the car parked and see the town on foot. I’d definitely stay there again.

Rachel was so helpful and knew the area well. The room was spacious and spotless, with a super comfy bed. It’s in a quiet, convenient spot, just round the corner from a chip shop, supermarket and mcdonalds. Fab stay, I’ll definitely book again x

We only stayed two nights, and it wasn’t nearly long enough. The Annex has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and Rachel is lovely and very welcoming. We were visiting a friend, who was nearby, and could easily walk into town from this residential part of Stamford. Rachel brought us a lovely continental breakfast on a tray. The weather let us eat outside on the small Patio, watching birds feed in Rachels Haven for Wildlife garden. We’ll definitely return for longer. Hotels and B&Bs in Stamford tend to be booked up and quite expensive, so we felt lucky to find this little gem. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends.
