The food was excellent, and Curtis made the service feel just as good. We came in for lunch after friends told us about the amazing £10 lunch special. Really enjoyed it all, and we’ll definitely be back.

The welcome was the first thing I noticed. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and it felt like they really enjoyed their work. I stopped by Standing Stones Hotel for the Sunday roast, which lived up to its reputation: tender, perfectly cooked meat, crisp roast potatoes, and rich gravy. The beer was cold, fresh, and poured just right, too. A lovely Sunday meal, and I’ll be back.

Orkney is always a pleasure to visit, and I love staying here. The hotel sits in a fantastic spot beside the loch, and the staff are always nearby, helpful, and knowledgeable about the island.

We had Sunday lunch at the Stones Restaurant with a group of friends. The food was generous and good, and everything was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, including helping people with coats. Parking and access were also great for anyone less able.

The service was really lovely, and the place had a friendly, nice atmosphere. I only had dinner here, so I can't comment on the rooms. The bar food was tasty, portions were good, and I was really pleased to find vegetarian options that were also gf.
