We all appreciated the delicious Hogmanay lunch at Nick’s restaurant, just a two-minute walk away, and thought it was great value. We came to Lochend with the whole family to see in 2026, staying in Cormorant over New Year. The place was quiet, with amazing views, comfy beds and relaxing spaces. It was luxurious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed plus more, including a hot tub and a fire pit beside the river. The Lochend staff gave us a lovely welcome and were always available if we needed anything.

Our little boy loved the rowing boat and splashing around on the pebbly beach, and the scenery was lovely. We had beautiful weather during our week in one of the chalets with our toddler. It was the best holiday. Thanks for having us!

Nick's restaurant is right next door and is a must visit. We stayed in one of the great chalets for a week over the Easter holidays, and the setting was fabulous. From here, lots of brilliant places are an easy one to two hour drive away. I only wish I'd known there was a lakeside sauna. I didn't bring my swimming shorts, or I would've used it a few times.

I found this place by chance while looking in Glasgow for a cottage in the countryside. It was my first time in Scotland, and my family of six had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, beautiful and really relaxing. I loved being there and would gladly come back. Thanks for everything 🇸🇦🏴❤️😍🌟

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The staff were welcoming and easy to chat with. Honestly, the stay was delightful and better than great.
