Kingswood

This was my first stay at a B&B hotel, and it went very well, even compared with the many four-star hotels I’ve stayed in around the country. They emailed an access code, and the keys were in the room. Staff were kind and very helpful in the morning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served hot, and when I asked for muffins and a croissant, they arranged them. The sheets smelled fresh and the towels were packed. You can find an iron and ironing board in the storeroom on FF. Parking is available at both the front and back of the hotel. I’d highly recommend it.

A simple, clean room with no fuss. Communication before the stay was fantastic, and it’s well placed for the short walk to Stockton Globe Theatre.

Kingswood was a great value find, and I’d definitely book again if I return to Stockton. I was in town for business and hotels were nearly £100 a night. The positive reviews persuaded me to give it a try, and I’m glad they did. My room was small but tidy and had everything I needed: tea and coffee, a TV, a compact en suite, towels and clean linen. The bed was comfortable too. The woman who welcomed me was very friendly, and there were several restaurants and pubs just a short walk up the road for dinner. Booking updates by email and SMS were excellent.

The breakfast was amazing, and I’ll certainly come back next time I visit family. My room was cosy and very clean, the en suite was immaculate, and the bed was clean with lovely fluffy towels. It’s a lovely B&B in a great location, and the key safe was easy to use. Thanks to Karen and the staff for a pleasant stay 😀
