The area is lovely and the view is stunning, very picturesque. But the master bedroom bed had zip ties holding its slats in place. The sofas felt dipped in the middle, so I didn’t dare sit on them. The dining chairs were worn, too. There were rules asking people to keep showers and hot water use minimal, with one person showering in the morning and another at night if more than one person needed a shower. For the price, it wasn’t worth it, and sadly I won’t stay again.

We loved the roomy farmhouse, the comfy sofas and how well equipped the cottage was. Little Cotton Farmhouse is in a lovely quiet spot, close to beautiful Dartmouth and its amenities while still out in the countryside. There’s a fantastic enclosed, safe outdoor space for the dog.

The location was superb, with a 40 minute walk straight into Dartmouth centre. But we found an extensive list of problems with the cottage. The dishwasher had been condemned, the upstairs shower was too, and the TV in one room didn’t work. It was dirty as well. We were told to strip all the beds and clean everywhere, so I’m not sure what the cleaner actually does. For what we paid, I wouldn’t stay again.

A very nice cottage with a peaceful, relaxing feel, no bustle or traffic noise. The garden is dog friendly.

It was closed when I got there at 4pm, even though the sign said it closed at 5pm, so I’ve no idea what was going on. Maybe it only keeps those hours in season. The beach here is stunning 😍
