Being right on the beach, with lovely views, made this a great holiday apartment. It was beautifully equipped, especially the top-quality kitchen and shower room.

The inside of these apartments is good, though a bit dated, and some could use a reverb. The outside looks really bad. Still, they have a real Torcross vibe, and the location on such a unique beach is great. You probably won't be disappointed, unless you're after ultimate luxury, in which case Salcombe is the place to go.

From this well-appointed ground-floor apartment, there are lovely views along Torcross beachfront. It was superbly presented, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The seafront location is prime, and the place draws plenty of people because of the neighbouring hotel's claim to have the “best ever fish n chips.” I was disappointed that the whole establishment seemed to need refurbishment, and had needed it for some time. The accommodation felt cramped, and I thought the claimed one-star and two-star ratings were grossly exaggerated.
