The garden was beautiful, with thoughtful planting, and it was super dog friendly. The house itself is furnished and decorated like something from a Pinterest advert, and Katie has a sharp eye for detail. Hospitality was incredible, and breakfast was fabulous. We’d cross the country for smoked salmon that good. One of the best places we’ve stayed, and we can’t wait to return to the White House.

There are so many great places to visit nearby, we’ll definitely be back soon. Kate also told me about a lovely walk or run from the back of the house to the coast, which I highly recommend. The house looks stunning and is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling enough to keep us going until evening. It was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

The garden was a treat to look out at over breakfast, which was delicious, and our dog especially enjoyed her breakfast sausages. Many thanks to Kate and Chris for such a wonderful stay at their stylish, beautiful hotel. They’re attentive and informative, while still being a down to earth family. We were celebrating a special birthday and couldn’t have asked for better. Just excellent.

Chris and Katie were incredibly helpful and thoughtful hosts. My wife and I stayed for three days last week and loved it. The delicious breakfast, excellent room, first class facilities and incredibly comfortable bed all made for a lovely visit. The Whitehouse is a beautiful building with stylish interior decoration and gorgeous gardens. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to South Devon, and we’ll certainly stay again.

The breakfast was delicious, and the care in every detail at the Whitehouse, from the interior to the garden, was stunning. My partner, our miniature dachshund and I had a wonderful stay in Chillington. Katie and Chris were fantastic hosts. With only a few bedrooms, it felt like a home from home, and the beach was just a few minutes’ drive away. We made some very happy, memorable memories here and will certainly return.
