Arduthie House

Breakfast was excellent, and the young woman working in the cafe was lovely. We found our spotless room comfortable, especially the mattress, and the place had a stylish, home away from home feel. We spent two nights at Arduthie house in Stonehaven, and it was just what we needed. We liked it so much that we'll be back.

We loved the breakfast. You choose the night before, then get a delicious meal freshly made the next morning. The pastries and poached eggs on avocado toast were especially good. There's free street parking, and we found the place easily with Google maps. The room was bright, airy and pretty big. It's close to eateries and the sea, and a great base for walking around town and admiring the architecture. Just note there are stairs into the place and up to the rooms, with no lift. We'd definitely stay again if we're out this way.

Cafe Neuk was a lovely start to each day, with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. We also loved the flower-filled gardens, which felt like a peaceful retreat, and the cozy, spotless rooms had plenty of character. The house was charming and meticulously cared for. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel at home and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Their local recommendations made our time in Stonehaven even more memorable. My wife Karyn and I will always remember our stay at Arduthie House B&B fondly. It's a gem in a beautiful part of Scotland, and we'd happily return. Highly recommended! Lance & Karyn Echols

We loved waking up to the stunning water view from our room. The beds were comfortable, and thoughtful touches included tea, water and yummy shortbread cookies. Breakfast was excellent, with pleasant, attentive service. Our stay at the Arduthie House was short but enjoyable, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful seaside town of Stonehaven.
