I booked a one-night stay but had to cancel because of a family emergency. They refused a refund in a two-sentence email. It was an appalling experience and a despicable way to treat people. I'd ask anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider.

Ali and Shona were wonderful, hospitable hosts during my four-night stay at the Guest House. The room was spotless, bright and airy, with everything I needed to feel at home. Breakfasts were superb, and I had a lovely waterside view from the bedroom. The Guest House is also close to all amenities.

The owner was so kind, and the breakfasts were very nice. From my room I could see the water and the adorable back garden. The location was great, and I felt safe and secure. I'd definitely recommend it.

We stayed for just two nights, but really enjoyed our visit. The owner was very kind, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was great.

A lovely, genuine place with friendly, helpful hosts who are ready to step in when you need anything. They can even cook breakfast to order. The view is beautiful, and you're close to everything in the centre. The walls are thin, though, so you can hear almost every step. I'd stay here again.
