The sunken garden and the top of gallows hill were my favourite spots on a relaxed wander around the castle grounds 😁 We even caught a lovely rainbow while we were there 🥰

If you keep fairly quiet, wild rabbits will wander around you. There are wooden Gruffalo statues and a story to find too. It’s a stunning park, and I think you’ll love it.

The grounds are huge and beautiful, with plenty to explore. Definitely worth a visit!

I joined the parkrun here and took photos as I went, something I’ve never done at a parkrun before. It was easily the most scenic 5k I’ve run. The grounds are amazingly beautiful. I’d love to see how the Stornoway festival in May is held here. Maybe I’ll be back then?!

The museum was really interesting, and there’s a nice coffee and gift shop too. The grounds are beautiful, and I had a look inside the castle.
