The communication at Stratford House was the worst I've experienced. Staff were unhelpful, gave unclear information and didn't do what they said they would. Completely unprofessional. I wouldn't stay here again.

This place seems much better suited to renting as a whole house. If you only need a room for a night or two, I'd look elsewhere. My room wasn't as advertised, and the descriptions on the website, Google and Booking.com all differ. The heating wasn't on, there wasn't enough bedding, and the room was freezing. I was also overcharged and had to chase them for my change. There were no tea or coffee facilities, no toiletries, and the bedding and towels were poor quality. Booking the whole house might be a good experience, but for just a room, I wouldn't recommend it.

The owners were lovely. One of them even showed us how to get to Anna Hathaway's Cottage. The house is in a great central spot, and our clean room had well-kept furniture and a comfortable bed.

We had a great long weekend in this outstanding family accommodation. The owners were incredibly helpful and did everything they could to make sure we had a really good stay.

The house was clean and good, and the owner was very professional. They were a lot better than the company I was working for. I'd definitely stay there again.
