We nearly left as soon as we arrived to look for somewhere else, and were relieved when it was time to go. The guesthouse sits beside a busy road, so it was very noisy. Our room also felt poorly cleaned, with dust, litter, and concerns about the towels and bedding, while the furniture was very worn. When we raised it, the receptionist blamed the high season. That may have been the case, but we still expected at least a clean room for the price. Breakfast cost £10 per person per night and didn't come close to being worth it. We can't understand the good reviews. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

A comfortable, quiet room with good amenities for the price. The host gave us a warm welcome, and there’s a small market and a great chippy within walking distance. It’s a handy place to stop for the night before heading farther out from Inverness into the Highlands. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The owner was welcoming and very helpful, and the continental breakfast had a generous spread, including plenty of fresh fruit, pasties, and cold meats. I stayed on my way to Ben Wyvis. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. There’s no bar, but the guest house does have a nice lounge for relaxing in the evening.

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the reserve trail that leads to Rogie Falls, and there’s a bus stop close by too. We stayed three nights with my spouse, and the clean, comfortable room and well-priced breakfast made it an easy choice. The gentleman running the place was lovely. I’d seek it out again next time I’m in the area, especially if I wanted to go hiking.

A great base for exploring the lovely nearby countryside and lochs. I stayed two nights in August, and the host was kind and obliging. Our room was spacious and clean, with a super king-size bed that was incredibly comfortable. The continental breakfast was plentiful.
