Woodman's Barn

Breakfast was plentiful, and we were offered more with a smile and a chat. It’s served at a communal table when other guests are staying, and we enjoyed the company each day. Our hosts were warm, friendly and full of local knowledge, making us feel welcome right away. The room was fine, with tea and coffee facilities and plenty of biscuits. We’d been told the shower could be slow, but it caused us no problems. The Fox is a fairly straightforward walk once you’ve made your way along the long, slightly undulating drive. The location works well for Norwich and the north coast. Would highly recommend.

Our double room had an en-suite shower room and was just right for us. It was close to the car parking and breakfast room, with tea, coffee and biscuits in the room for a morning or evening cuppa. Everything felt superbly built and finished. Breakfast had plenty of varied choices, was beautifully cooked, and left us well fed. It’s served at a communal table, which is nice for chatting with other travellers. Janice and Richard are a lovely, friendly couple who made our stay memorable. The place is handy for Norwich and the airport to the left, or north Norfolk to the right, off a long unmade track from the A140. We’d stay again without a second thought.

Janice and Richard are lovely to talk to, accommodating and brilliant at making you feel comfortable and well looked after. The room facilities are excellent, and it’s such a peaceful place for a break. Thanks for a fantastic stay, Janice and Richard. I’m looking forward to seeing you again.

We loved our two nights here. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of tea and coffee available. Breakfast was fantastic, a 10 out of 10. Our host was very friendly, and we really enjoyed our conversations. Highly recommend, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m in the area.
