We were welcomed with coffee and cake, and the whole place was lovely and clean. The room was excellent, with an exceptionally comfortable bed, soft bedlinen, nice toiletries, and fresh milk for coffee. The attention to detail really stood out. Breakfast was amazing, all made with fresh ingredients. It’s such a quiet spot, and the pub was friendly too. Certainly recommend it, 5 stars. Thank you Stuart & Kevin.

Everything was extremely clean, and the daily room service was first class, right down to fresh bottled water and biscuits each day. The breakfast was first class too. Our en-suite room was a good size, with a lovely garden and sea view, and a very comfortable bed. Stuart and Kevin were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t fault the house at all. Post from Christine and Michael.

Stuart and Kevin made us feel welcome from the start, and we really didn’t want to leave. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the breakfast was divine, and everything had been done impeccably. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Strete Barton House was the highlight of our two weeks in the UK. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed tea in the garden on arrival, looking out at the beautiful sea views. Everything was impeccably done, and Stuart and Kevin were exceptional hosts. I’d expected to be closer to Dartmouth and was a little disappointed at first, but Strete turned out to be the better choice. We’d love to return one day.

It was so peaceful and relaxing, and we’ll definitely come again. The beautifully decorated rooms had extremely comfortable beds and a great shower. Breakfasts were tasty and filling, and there were lovely little touches, including a welcome tea or coffee with cake. Since it was Easter, chocolate eggs and Lindt bunny rabbits were waiting in our room.
