We spotted a local pheasant and deer looking out over the garden from our lovely room. The bed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. Wendy and Lee are such friendly hosts, and sitting among Lee’s fantastic carvings was a joy. A lovely countryside B&B, a little gem worth visiting.
This was our second trip to Wendy and Lee at Gorse Farm, and we absolutely love it there. It’s wonderfully peaceful, the rooms are lovely, and breakfast was nice. The hosts are the best. For an evening meal, we recommend the Fiddleford Inn, and booking ahead is advised if you want to eat there.
We were visiting family nearby and had a lovely stay. It’s well off the beaten path, just right for a quiet break. The owners were superb, and breakfast was wonderful.
The breakfast was generous and really good, and Lee and Wendy made us feel so welcome. We had a fantastic break at this lovely farmhouse. They work so hard at it and deserve every success. I couldn't recommend it more.
I brought home one of Lee's lovely leaf carvings, which I'm now using to keep fruit in. There are several of his wood carvings around the house, and some are for sale. The B&B itself is beautifully decorated and very clean, with a warm bedroom, a comfortable bed, plenty of parking, and a lovely breakfast. Wendy and Lee are fantastic hosts. I'd happily recommend Gorse Farm House B&B.
