We found the gardens around Plumber Manor beautifully kept and the setting wonderfully peaceful. Inside, the restaurant was immaculate, with elegant table settings and a comforting open fire. The staff were professional and genuinely warm, making the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. There was a good variety on the menu, and the food was fresh, flavourful, and nicely presented. A real gem, and we look forward to coming back.

It felt like spending a weekend at a friend's fabulous country house. The service was personal but never intrusive, and on arrival we felt expected and genuinely welcome. Our room was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Before dinner in the dining room, there's a drawing room, bar, and snug in the main house where you can relax. We had such a wonderful stay that I'm already planning to return as soon as I can. Thank you for having us. I'd almost like to keep this place a secret.

You wake to birdsong in a spacious room, and the staff are friendly and very skilled. This Manor House is brilliant for both a stay and a meal. The food, from breakfast and Sunday roast to dinner, is excellent and really refined. The place is even more attractive in person than any website can show.

My wife booked us in for our village Christmas dinner, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was to die for, the place beautiful, and the staff were kind and attentive. Superb all round. Thanks for looking after us and making the evening special. We'll definitely be back.

The festive season at Plumber was another happy visit for my husband and me, after several stays at the manor over the years. We spent three wonderful days there over Christmas. The welcome was warm and gracious, every member of staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. Everything felt very relaxed. It was more like being part of the family than staying as guests in a hotel.
