There are lots of places to eat nearby, including an amazing Indian takeaway at the top of the road. I stayed at this cottage last December and have already booked another visit for July. It was spotless, with lovely quality linens and towels and everything we needed. The location was great, and we always found a space to park outside. The owner checked in during our stay to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommend it.

The Empire theatre and city centre are both an easy walk away, and Roker beach is only a 10 min drive. The cottage was really clean and had all the amenities we needed. Booking and getting in were straightforward, and the owner was very helpful with directions and parking info. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

I’ve stayed in several of the properties a few times now, and they’ve all been modern, spotless, and in a great location near sunderland city centre and the metro station to Newcastle. The beds are comfy, and the kitchens have everything for a homely stay. They’re easy to deal with, too. Tip for travellers, contact the owner through their website for better rates than the online travel agent.

I’ve stayed at two of their properties many times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Great location, spotless, and really nicely decorated. Can’t recommend them enough.
